Cape Town nestling under Table Mountain is a city of around 4 million people. The city itself covers a relatively
small area with the majority of the black working population living in densely packed satellite suburbs.
We arrived Sunday late afternoon.
The city proper was very quiet.
The city was very clean and everything looked freshly
painted ( for the World Soccer Cup?).
to our eyes the city looked not much bigger than a large
provincial Australian city like Newcastle or Geelong.
